Hooray for "J..."

J. Vernon McGee, that is! I was listening to his "thru the Bible radio" broadcast on Psalm 106, and he actually did not say much about it. But he did say this about the Psalms, right at the end: "We oughta get saturated with 'em!" (Of course, with his well known Southern Californian accent). Ye can listen to him here (he actually covers Psalms 105 and 106 in this particular recording, which is great, because those were the morning and evening Psalms for today ( though technically yesterday, seeing it's after Midnight right now(!)):

That's what this blog is all about: getting saturated with the Psalms! My brother respects J. Vernon McGee, which, by the way, is a rare honour for McGee. Therefore, when McGee, says we ought to get saturated with the Psalms, I would personally take heed! Feel free to dive right into this treasure chest of music at the centre (if not "center") of your Bibles. I have been reaping from them for almost ten years now, and I will not be stopping any time soon!
